Juicy Chicken Drumsticks (in air fryer)
A healthy air frier recipe is juicy tender chicken with no oil or butter. Whenever I make it for my family, they all love it, especially kids would eat it as lollipops. It is not hard to make and good treat on the weekend.
Total time:
1 hour
Marinade time: 30 minutes
Air frying:
25minutes
Servings:
5
Ingredients
Chicken drumstick: 5
Crushed ginger & garlic: 3Tbsp
All-purpose flour: 3Tbsp
Gram flour: 1Tbsp
Chili powder: 2Tsp
Garam masala: 3Tsp
Lemon juice: 3Tbsp
Oil: 1Tbsp
Fresh curry leaves chopped: 1Tsp (optional)
Salt: 2Tsp
Method:
1.
Peel off the outer skin and fat from chicken
drumsticks and crosscut in between the drumstick's thicker tissues (horizontally).
2.
Wash the drumsticks in a strainer and keep
them aside.
3.
In a clean bowl, add all-purpose flour, gram
flour, chili powder, garam masala, salt, garlic paste, lemon juice, and oil and
mix into a paste texture (in case you find the paste is too thick, not smooth then
add 1tsp of water).
4.
Now, add the chicken drumsticks and start
mixing well.
5.
Marinate the chicken for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
6.
After marination, place them in the air
fryer at 4000F temperature and set the time for 25 minutes.
7.
Once it's ready, take it off from the air
fryer and ready to serve.
