Strawberry Ice-cream

Strawberry ice cream without                                                      artificial  colors

If you go to popular ice cream parlors, they are eye catchy and mouth-watering flavored colors. But the problem is we never know what kinds of colors or additives they put in. Most of the time, those colors are unhealthy, and sometimes they can be dangerous. That is why I put together a healthy sweet treat recipe with a rich taste.

Total preparation: 15 minutes

Freezing Time: 4 hours

No of servings: 3

Ingredients

Strawberries: ¾ cup (150 g)

Sugar: ¼ cup (50 g)

Heavy Whipping cream: 1 cup (250 ml)

Condensed milk: ¼ cup (50 ml)

Water: ¼ cup (50 ml)

Method:

1. Wash the strawberries and cut them into two divided slices.

2. Add the strawberries and sugar to a bowl, mix well, and set aside for about 2 minutes.

3. Take a saucepan, pour in the strawberry sugar mixture, add some water, and boil until it becomes soft and forms a gel texture.

4. Once the strawberry gel is ready, switch off the flame and allow it to cool at room temperature.

5. Pour the whipping cream into a bowl and start blending it using the blender. Once the whipping cream achieves a creamy consistency, stop and add the condensed milk, mixing gently with a spatula.

6. Add the strawberry gel to the blended whipping cream and mix gently.

7. Transfer the strawberry cream to the ice cream container and freeze it for 4 hours or until it becomes thicker.

8. After 4 hours, remove it from the freezer and use an ice cream scoop (or) any other tool to scoop out the cream. Then, it’s ready to serve the homemade strawberry ice cream.
